| The straightener broke less than 3 months after purchase | |
| | I don't recommend this product because I purchased it in May and it broke in August. I tried to contact Farouk to get a replacement but the warranty is void for straighteners purchased over the internet. However the good news is that Amazon will replace the product.
To save yourself the hassle of all of this, I recommend you purchase a straightener from another brand.
| | | My girlfriend's classic chi blew a couple of months ago so I decided to surprise her with the chi turbo. After reading reviews I found that the chi turbo is great for women with thick and/or a lot of hair. I don't know the specifics of straightening hair, but I do know TIME. Her hair is the way she wants it in about half the time it took her with the classic chi. I've also noticed her hair stays straight for a longer period of time. She was happy with the classic chi, but she's even more happy with the turbo chi.
| | | I already have a Hot Tools flat iron, but my hairdresser uses this one and loves it. I decided to shell out the money for this one, and boy was I happy I did! There is so much for control with this iron, and the results are amazing. I love it!
| | | LOVE LOVE LOVE this product! It's my second Chi Turbo - the first was a 2", but 1" is better for shorter hair. I have used the 2" for over 3 years now and it still works great.
| | Great item at a great price | |
| | The Chi is supposed to be the best hair straightener out there. I haven't ever used anything else so I can't really compare, but I really like this product. Here the price was excellent. They can sell for over 150 dollars elsewhere and this one was 89. I would also recommend this model over others that do not have a temperature control.
