Product description is mis-leading - this is NOT HC (high-capacity) reader

Being unable to give "Zero or Negative" stars...

I got two of these, hoping to be able to read my 4gb and 8gb SDHC cards. Unfortunately, this reader does not recognize them. Hey, even garden-variety 2GB cards are not recognized... The product packaging itself does not mention HC either...

But - at five bucks, it even does not deserve returning back...

I love it. I'm not too computer savvy, but it works great for me. I mainly use it to upload digital pictures to send to family. Great price. I'm sure the electronic wizards will always be coming up with something "new and improved" all the time. But for now, I recommend it.

Works just fine.

Works as described.

It will take an SD card. For the 'other cards' that it can read, you will need to have your own adapter to fit into the reader.

This is a really handy gadget! You no longer need cords to get your pictures from your camera to your computer. I really like this card reader.

Worked great....for a month

Since this was a free reader I guess I expected it would fail. I had it for a month before it must have shorted out somewhere as it's now an "unknown device" and won't read anything. It isn't worth returning or getting fixed as in both cases the expense for shipping would be more than it's worth. Instead I purchased a replacement which hopefully will last longer. Mobilelite USB 2.0 9-IN-1 Read seems to work just as good so we'll see in another month if that one passes the test.
