| Editorial Reviews: | | | | | Since shooting to stardom on the second season of American Idol, Clay Aiken, the Raleigh, NC, native with the powerhouse voice has become a international pop phenomenon who has sold six million albums. In addition, Aiken has launched eight live tours, made the New York Times best-seller list, and won several American Music and Billboard Music Awards. In January 2008, Aiken made his Broadway debut in the Tony Award-winning musical Monty Python's Spamalot. When Clay began the search for songs to record for Aiken's first album of original material since his 2003 chart-topping debut Measure of A Man, he fell in love with a song written by OneRepublic front man Ryan "Alias" Tedder called "On My Way Here." The message of the lyrics -- how the lessons we learn while growing up shape us into who we become as adults -- struck such a deep chord with Aiken that it wound up inspiring the theme (and title) of his new collection. To musically represent the album's lyrical theme, Aiken and Foster enlisted Grammy-Award winning British songwriter and producer Kipper, who has worked with Sting, Chris Botti, and Julia Fordham. | |

| | On My Way Here is an awesome CD. In my family we all have a favorite song on the CD. However, my favorite song on the CD is actually from the Bonus Track from Walmart. So you might want to get one from Amazon and then go pick up one for the car or something from Walmart. There are upbeat songs, timeless love songs, and just makes ya feel good songs. I can not recommend this CD enough.
| | | Once again in his latest album, On My Way Here, Clay Aiken has created a wonderful compilation of inspiring songs. The lyrics are moving, his voice is exceptional, and the music grabs your heart. A great second album that every Aiken fan will want in their music collection!

| | On My Way Here is a great CD. I was tickled to get a new CD by Clay Aiken, my fellow North Carolinian. I just love Clay's voice and think he should have won the American Idol show the year he was a contestant. I appreciate the ease with which I can order from Amazon.com and get my merchandise so quickly. Thank you.
| | | it's hard to pick a favorite on this CD, it changes from day to day. Today, "Ashes" is my favorite, nice mid-tempo song. "Everything I Don't Need" is probably the most unique song on the CD, Clay sings with a more agressive tone in his voice. "Something About Us" has a wonderful bluesy, jazzy feel to it. "Where I Draw the Line" is another stand out. "The Real Me" is beautifully sung, and of course the song that Clay wrote, "Lover All Alone" has heart wrenching lyrics and Clays voice really stands out on this one.
| | | This is a great album!! My favorite songs are "Lover All Alone", "Falling", "Ashes" and "As Long As We're Here". I can't get enough of these songs, their message is wonderful and they make me cry sometimes... The production is stellar, Clay's voice is superb, as always, and the lyrics are very inspiring. All in all, this is what great music sounds like to me!
